1. Sn Manager - Fund Research and Due Diligence
The Private Bank needs to build a range of products provided by third parties. Every new product needs to be assessed and analyzed by our own due diligence team. The current due diligence team lacks experience and leadership. The role is to lead a small team of due diligence researchers. The role will report directly to the CIO.
Main Deliverables:
(1) Deliver a complete process for due diligence of third party products. The candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining the process by which we analyze all of our third party funds. The approach will include both quantitative and qualitative techniques.
(2) Plan the introduction of new products and providers to the platform. The candidate will work closely with the CIO to ensure that the investment platform has sufficient investment vehicles for investors to sue to allow access to our best thinking on strategic and tactical asset allocation.
(3) Be a lead researcher on third party funds. Leading by example the candidate should take primary responsibility for researching all third party funds tat we wish to have on our platform
(4) Educate and inform the RMs on the products being introduced. The candidate and their team will be responsible for informing the RMs on the key attributes of the funds being recommended. The candidate is also expected to speak regularly to clients about our key investment ideas.
(5) Team management- The candidate will be responsible for the leadership of a small ream of researchers that will complete due diligence reports on all third party funds
2. Head of Fixed Income
Objective: Part of the product offering for clients is advice and guidance on money market fixed income and credit markets. The role of the head of Fixed Income, money market and credit is to be the key person providing an overview of the markets for clients, maintaining model portfolios and writing research. The role will report directly to the CIO
Main Deliverables:
Develop and maintain an investment process for the asset class. The candidate will be expected to build a robust process for making sub asset allocation selections within the credit markets.
Develop a suite of investment research publications. Communication with the PMs and RMs and clients is critical to the success of our business. The candidate will be expected to build a suite of publications for internal and external use.
Develop and maintain model portfolios. The candidate will take ownership of the credit model portfolios that will be used by the portfolio managers in advisory and discretionary portfolios
Educate RMs on breadth of opportunities in fixed income. The candidate should contribute to the ongoing education of PMs and RMs in the credit space.
