1.Manage an assigned geographical sales area or product line to maximize sales revenues & coverage to meet corporate objectives.
2.Develop prospective clients, make cold calls and service and grow existing clients.
3.Respond to inquiries by clients.
4.Send inquiries to agents.
5.Prepare quotations through Customer service and send to clients.
6.Follow -up on quotations and close business, if lost revert with reasons.
7.On receiving confirmed business hand over to customer service.
8.Coordinate through Customer service with operations for container placing / container releases etc.
9.Monitor timely Delivery of invoices to clients if any disputes, update credit control.
10.Collect dues and outstanding amounts from clients in allotted credit limit.
11.Meet volume targets.
12.Timely submission of reports set by the management as per the deadline.
13.Provide MIS information on Market & Competitor activity to Management.
14.Ensure Credit customers are wetted out through the with Credit approval process.
Skills
-Excellent Oral and written Communication
-Knowledge of EDP software and MS Office Suite
-Knowledge of freight forwarding industry and terminologies
-Responds promptly to customer needs and Solicits -customer feedback to improve service
