To join a small specialist team based in Dubai
Our client is a single source supplier for the energy sector, offering complete package solutions including piping, a specialized range of compact flanges, clamp connectors, specialty valves and subsea connectors. Many years of engineering experience enable the Group to offer customers a broad range of tailor-made engineered products, each adapted and developed to specific needs. The company's customers include wholesale traders, large engineering firms, EPC contractors and end-users such as large oil producing companies.
The Piping Division delivers piping & valve solutions as complete packages, often providing specialist materials within short lead times for large-scale projects. To drive growth in this Division our client is looking to employ an experienced Business Area Manager to be responsible for the Middle East region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for sales in the Middle-East - Piping and Valves
• Establish a solid and long term relationship with customers (Frame Agreements etc)
• Achieve targets and outcomes in order to drive significant growth and profits
• Expand the Piping Division's market intelligence
• Determine the competencies and resources required to grow this regional office and deliver a competitive service for new and existing customers
Requirements:
• Commercial / Sales experience in the Oil & Gas sector, ideally in the area of Piping Materials and related products
• Strong skills across the full sales process, able to negotiate and close deals
• Must be focused on results and be able to perform independently to deadlines in a fast paced environment
• Proactive and self-motivated, able to show previous results in getting leads/orders and securing new clients
• The ideal candidate will have a technical/procurement background involving material science, mechanical piping and additional education related to business (marketing, sales, logistics, etc.)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, fluency in other languages an advantage
• Ability to work well with people of diverse backgrounds and at all levels of seniority |
