• Lead and manage all Business Systems associated staff, contractors and contract services in analyzing/developing areas such as ERP, Intranet, EDMS, LiveLink, Sharepoint, etc.
• Responsible for the application build out and support of the technical computing environment.
• Accountable for managing the Business Systems section of the IT budget.
• Work closely with the ERP project team during the analysis and scoping phase and thereafter during the build out.
• Accountable for deploying and managing the Business Systems section of the IS work plan addressing resource allocation, systems development and optimization, hardware/software life cycle and relevant project activities. Assists the business in reviewing business processes.
• Coordinate activities to ensure alignment within infrastructure, compatibility of systems and quality of services.
• Provide active supervision and guidance to subordinates.
• Understand, implement and comply with the HSE Policy of the Company. Demonstrate commitment to protect the health and safety of everyone involved in the organization's activity and the communities around it. Respect and care for the local environment and systematically manage risks. Ultimate goal is to minimize all injuries, occupational illnesses, unsafe practices and environmental incidents.
Requirements:
• Background in IT with exposure to upstream oil and gas activities.
• 10+ years experience in the Oil & Gas Industry.
• Ability to communicate complex technology solutions to all levels within the organization
• Ability to handle problems and difficult situations under pressure circumstances.
• Ability to set priorities and to change and respond quickly will be necessary.
• Credible and a role model, both inside and outside the company.
• Ability to deal with diverse styles and multiple levels of the organization.
• Experience in a multi-cultural work environment.
• Flexibility, ability to handle multiple agendas and objectives and is able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. |
