We are seeking to recruit Buying Assistants for Toys R Us in Cairo, Egypt. Reporting directly to the Buyer, on a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for the following:
• Controlling the replenishment activities regarding to category target inventory and sales level
• Generating the new products in the system according to the buyers assortment planning
• Generating import purchase orders
• Following up with vendors on the purchase orders receipt
• Ensuring category sales and inventory levels are matching with the category targets
• Updating the system information with regards to pricing, barcodes, item numbers, descriptions, purchase orders prices and ETA dates
• Providing overall merchandising support to the Buyer This position is open for Egyptian Nationals only.
Requirements:
To be successful in winning this role, you will be able to demonstrate:
• 1-2 years of retail buying experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Advanced Excel skills
• Negotiating and analytical skills
