The Purpose of this job is to effectively implement the career development program of Zamil Group Holding company consistent with its long-term talent management strategy.
Key Result Areas:
Talent / Competency Profiling:
• Administers various assessment tools to generate competency and occupational personality profile of targeted nominees to the career & management development program, and prepares, individual reports for feedback or further analysis.
• Maps assessment results against ZG competency model to determine competency gaps.
• Discusses individual profiles with managers concerned and validates development needs drawn from the objective assessment exercise.
• Conducts feedback sessions with career development candidates who go through the competency profiling exercise.
• As directed, conducts assessment and profiling for executive selection purposes.
• Takes the lead in researching and acquisition of assessment instrumentation to enhance ZG's in-house objective assessment capability.
Succession Plan Preparation and Update:
• Lists critical positions company-wide and assists managers identify candidates to be lined-up for progression to the position based on readiness and potential.
• Coordinates with the company's Top Management on periodic update of the succession matrix.
• Alerts Management of cases where succession gaps are likely to occur; makes recommendations for movements that will prevent organizational/leadership vacuum.
• Maintains and updates succession matrix and ensures that management movement is tracked and appropriately reflected in the matrix.
IDP Preparation and Implementation:
• Provides expert advice and/or consulting inputs to Management on training options or interventions for the career development during the preparation of IDPs.
• Makes the appropriate follow-ups with managers concerned in order to ensure that IDPs are implemented as per plan or schedule.
• Routinely tracks and updates records of training and development programs completed by career-dev candidates.
• Helps individuals and/or functional areas identify appropriate training programs and /or training service providers.
Career Development Options Outsourcing:
• Identifies and analyzes capabilities and fit of training consultants and service providers to ZG's requirements.
• Ensures that service agreements of training consultants sufficiently address the development requirements for which the consultants are being hired.
• Establishes an extensive network of service providers to ensure the timely, effective and value-for-money delivery of outsourced career-dev programs.
• Gathers post-program feedback and assessment from employees who attended training programs.
• Collates all evaluations of training service providers used and recommends retention and/or cessation of service availment.
Best-Practice Identification and Introduction to ZG:
• Liaises with professional bodies and participates in appropriate forums to benchmark ZG against industry best-practice.
• Routinely examines ZG's career development system and makes recommendations for improvements.
• Researches and recommends better use of training resources (including Information Technology) to optimize usage and results.
In-house Consulting:
s requested, partners with concerned HR staff of Zamil owned or managed businesses in the Group as regards initiating and/or providing support in their in-going career development initiatives.

Requirements:
Professional Qualifications or Certifications:
-Preferably Arab (GCC Nationals, Lebanese, Jordanian, Syrian, etc)
• Degree Holder in Industrial Psychology, HR Management or in any allied field of study. Master's Preferred.
-At least 5 years experience in training & career development with proven track record in strategy formulation, needs assessment and program implementation.
-CIPD certification preferred; post graduate courses in training and development, assessment.
Computer Skill / Proficiency:
-Proficiency in MS-Office
Communication Skills Required:
-Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; presentation skills including the ability and confidence to present to senior managers.

-Interpersonal skills; results-orientation; excellent communication skills including the ability to facilitate training sessions and/or make persuasive presentations; diagnostic and analytical skills; problem solving ability; professional maturity and project management skills. |
