The Group Risk Officer will report to the Chief Executive Officer and will be responsible for setting and approving group risk policies within general guidelines set by the Board. The Risk department will be responsible for measuring, monitoring, analyzing and reporting overall risk exposures and advising the Board on the need for new or amended risk policies and limits. The Chief Risk Officer is also responsible for communication of all policies and processes to all staff. A key role will be to act as a senior advisor to businesses with respect to the risk aspects of new business, products and markets. The Board and senior management will look to the Risk Officer to identify and manage problem and high risk areas. It is therefore critical that the Risk Officer remains up to date with global best practice with respect to identification and managing of risks in the broadest sense of the term.

The candidates

You will be a highly experienced Risk professional with the following requirements

-At least 15 years within risk management

-Last 5 years within the Middle East, ideally as a CRO

-Good experience within Corporate and Retail Credit
