My client is a Lead provider of Architectural and Engineering design services in the Middle East.
Due to explosive growth they now need to appoint a Civil Inspector to be based in Oman.
The Sultanate of Oman is one of the most stunning countries in the Middle East with an excellent reputation for safety and stability and is extremely popualr with both the young and families.
Your key areas of reponsiibilities will include;
Working closely with Construction Superintendent/Manager
Monitoring civil/structural works on site
Ensure that the construction of new bridges is as per the drawings and specification and in a timely manner to the required quality
Monitoring quality of product/information/coordination provided by consultant
Responding to queries form contractors
Assisting in the preparation of monthly progress reports
Maintain daily reports of site activities and resources
Candidates for this position will need the following skills.
Engineering Degree
Minimum 5 years site experience preferably in high rise building construction
Ability to check/review compliance of shop drawings with design drawings
Computer literate
Leadership
