Construction Manager - BS in Mechanical Engineering & Specialization in Construction / Project Management
• 15 years on major similar projects (US$100 million). Must have extensive experience in managing all onsite activities covering similar projects. Should be able to advise, plan, organize and coordinate all activities with regard to construction from inception to client hand-over and warranty periods.
• Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.
• Plan organize and direct activities concerned with the construction of structures, facilities, and systems.
• Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.
• Determine labor requirements and dispatch workers to construction sites..
• Design - Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models
• Oversee total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule. Includes interfacing with client representative, architect representative, subcontractors, security, etc.
• Plan, coordinate and/or supervise activities of all company personnel on assigned project(s).
• Ensure all company, client, and project policies, procedures, standards, etc., are adhered to. Interpret policies as required.
• Provide direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions and required.
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction
