Job responsibilities

- Participate in Contracts Strategy for Project works
- Pre qualify contractors for various services
- Handle PRs, RFQs and evaluate quotes
- Prepare ITB and contract documents
- Commercial evaluation of vendor bids
- Prepare recommendation to award projects
- Issue LPO, LOI, service orders
- Interface with technical departments
- Supplier performance management
- Inventory & material interface in ERP
- Post contract management & closeout
- Manage change orders, variations, claims
- Vendor development, pre qualification and registration
- Documentation - bid bond, performance bond, liability, claims,

Desired skills

- Technical Product knowledge
- Familiar with UAE suppliers and contractors
- Logistics, expediting, shipping knowledge
- 5 years local market experience
- Well versed with International Contract terms (Logic, FIDIC)
- Knowledge of international shipping process (INCO terms)

Computer Proficiency

- ERP (Contracts, Purchase module)
- Inventory, warehousing packages
- MS Office suite (MS Access, Excel, Word, P.Point)
- Typing and contract document preparation in Word
