• Prepare Annual Acquisition Plan and Procurement Strategy along with the timeline of implementation for various contracts of the Team in discussions with various end users and agree with Department Manager.
• Develops and controls all contracting functions of the team to ensure that the activities are performed and contracts are placed well within the time line required to the satisfaction of end users and cost effective & as per company procedures.
• Developing Contracting strategies for major high value & strategic contracts.
• Ensures proper distribution of work. Controls the HR issues of the Team
• Supervises guides and checks the work performed by Senior Contracts Specialists and Contracts Specialists.
• Handles a business commitment of more than AED 200 Million per year

Requirements:
• Degree in an engineering discipline or Masters in Business Administration or equivalent.
• Fifteen (15) years experience in contracts Development, preferably in an oil/gas or petrochemical industry.
• Already handled a senior assignment managing a Team in Contracts Discipline.
• Sound knowledge of commercial practices, legal aspects and negotiation skills. Ability to utilize specialized applicable software package.
• Excellent reading, writing, communication and Management Reporting skills in English.
