The Role
Cost Estimator - BS in Mechanical Engineering
• To assemble and manage an entire estimate - review project drawings, specification and attend pre-bid meetings, etc. to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.
• Calculate complete take-off.
• Interface with the owner, Design team and Vendors regarding quotations and cost data.
• Skilled all experienced estimator. Must have experience in estimating all underground utilities, pump stations, treatment plants, and associated specially projects.
• Minimum 7 years experience in estimating work from conceptual design through design completion.
• Candidate must be able to assemble and manage estimates and maintain good working relationships with clients and subcontractors.
• Must be familiar with software estimating and cost control program and must have solid computer background, Microsoft Office
• Construction site experience is required.
