JOB PURPOSE:
To manage Accounting Separation and produce Separated Regulatory Accounts (SRA) of Omantel and Oman Mobile according to TRA regulations and guidelines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Functional:
• Develop regulatory accounts model
• Supervise Technical and Financial Analysts involved in network and costing analysis
• Report Half Yearly and Annual SRAs to management
• Submit Annual SRAs to TRA

People:
• Cascade SF initiatives assigned to Costing Specialist into Analysts
• Assign targets, goals and initiatives
• Develop talent within the team by providing direction and guidance about technical and financial parameters, guidelines and best practices of Regulatory Accounts.
• Support to achieve stretch targets
• Manage the team on a daily basis including resolving issues and maintaining motivation.
• Manage accurate, objective and fact-based performance appraisals for direct reportees

Measurable Deliverables:
• Strategic Finance assigned initiatives
• Separated Regulatory Accounts (SRA) for Omantel (12 services) - Annual Preparation, Audit, reporting to Omantel Management and Submission to TRA
• Separated Regulatory Accounts (SRA) for Oman Mobile (3 services) - Annual Preparation, Audit, reporting to Omantel Management and Submission to TRA
• Half yearly provisional update on 15 SRAs - Internal reporting to Omantel Management

Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
• Professional - Cost and Management Accountant.

Technical Skills:
• Knowledge of LRIC and FDC based costing of telecoms network and services
• Knowledge of telecoms costing regulations
• High skill in advanced Excel Spreadsheet application
• Hands on knowledge of preparing Regulatory Accounts

Behavioural Skills:
• Good organizing and time management skills
• Good analytical skills
• Good report writing skills

Language Skills: English
Specific experience:
Should have at least 3 year experience in costing and regulatory accounts of a national telecoms company
Overall experience: 5 years
