Responsible for the company operations of 10 or more offshore drilling rigs and support services of multi purpose service vessels. Ensures the integrity of all assets of the rigs through implementation of maintenance plans, to satisfy clients' requirements in a safe and economical manner. Serves as focal point for interaction with the operating companies and responsible for managing all contractual and major operational issues within his delegation of authority.
Requirements:
B.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering or equivalent complemented with specialized courses in drilling technology and operations.
15 years diversified experience in oil drilling operations including 5 years managerial/ supervisory capacity.
Computer literate, robust health and below 50 years of age.
Fluent in spoken and written English.

National Drilling Company was formed in May 1972 under the authority of his Highness Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan to embark on drilling wells in the Emirates. The Fleet began with 2 onshore rigs and after 2 years one offshore rig was added. The fleet has now expanded to 15 onshore, 9 offshore and 6 water well rigs, all equipped with state of the art technology.
