Major international law firm is wishing to recruit an experienced Finance Manager to work in the Cairo Office.
The Finance Manager will report to the Resident Managing Partner of Cairo office / Head of Finance in London.
The role involves the day to day operation of the accounting function for a major UK Law Firm branch office in Cairo. The role includes responsibility for the daily operational finances of the office and provision of accurate, reliable financial information and reporting of financial information to enable the Resident Managing Partner and Office Manager of Cairo to run the office and to London Finance department for consolidation into the firm's results. Ensuring compliance with UK Solicitors Accounts rules, Egyptian Accounting GAAP and the prevailing tax law is essential. Additionally the role includes responsibility for accurate posting of nominal journals, cashiering including maintaining client accounts, billing and time sheet administration, payment of suppliers, maintaining petty cash and payroll administration. The preparation of control account reconciliations, running of TB, producing management accounts and preparation year end statutory accounts for audit and liaising with the Auditors.

Qualifications:
Qualified Accountant being ACCA or equivalent level.
Able to work effectively without substantial supervision.
Track record of working in a professional services firm.
Good references demonstrating integrity and professional aptitude.
