1. Monitor consumer food trends via publications, websites and online partner companies and identify opportunities for Pizza Brand.
2. Participate, lead and/or manage concept and product generation of new menu layers, new core pizza, core line extensions and supporting menu items.
3. Provide technical information, finished product design standards, supply options and procedures .
4. Communicate and cascade new product designs to the Pizza business at local market level via Job Aids, conference calls and market visits.
5. Support consumer research exploration and evaluation - in market. Optimize products accordingly.
Economics
6. Support the establishment of the costs and business case for new or improved products to ensure profitable contribution to the business
Information Transfer & Training/Coaching
7. Provide training and self sufficiency to the field via Coaching to the field.
Skills
At least 2 years experience of food manufacturing, retailing or Food Service New Product Development. Affiliation with culinary organizations with a minimum of culinary training. Experience in leading new product ideation sessions.
Education: A degree in Food Science/Technology, or Home Economics/Nutrition. Master's Degree preferred. |
