A relatively new Islamic financial institution in Bahrain, seeking a pqe 10+ bi-lingual lawyer to join as General Counsel My client is a relatively new Investment banking institution offering shariah compliant private equity, real estate, venture capital, wealth management, asset management, structured finance and liquidity management. They are seeking a senior, Arabic speaking lawyer to join as General Counsel to join their operation.
The ideal candidate with be a senior (PQE 10+), native Arabic lawyer, with fluency in English speaking and writing. They will be career motivated and seeking a long term position that will offer the possibility of establishing, developing and managing a legal team in the future.
The candidate must be strong on Islamic Finance and general banking laws, preferably with a track record in handling corporate transactions (Private Equity and M&A). Candidates with GCC experience will be favoured.
