A reputed Abu Dhabi Government Organization is seeking a HSE Manager.

Responsibilities:
• Set the Corporate HSE goal and long term plan for Organization to be competitive in the region.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and recommend development of staff to ensure skilled technical HSE capacity and capability is available to execute the Specific Project HSE Plan.
• Provide organizational leadership through continuous engagement, communication and motivation.
• Provide assurance that HSE risks have been identified, prioritized and controlled
• Ensure any new risks associated with new activities or changes are properly assessed and controlled.
• Contributes to development of new techniques and standards;
• Directs employees and subcontractors based on general policies and management guidance and provides interpretation of compliance requirements.
• Manages HSE Program for various Projects and multi discipline workforces within an island and interfaces with project and operations management, clients, and relevant government agencies.
• Develop and maintain the safety and health program records-keeping and reporting system.
• Provides leadership and direction in all areas of a risk assessment, loss control, regulatory compliance, and safety program
• Establishes and implements short- and long-range organizational goals, objectives, strategic plans, policies, and operating procedures;
• Monitors and evaluates programmatic and operational effectiveness, and effects changes required for improvement.
• Trains, supervises, and evaluates safety staff.
• Advises administration on appropriate risk management policies, procedures, and issues of safety
• Integrates employee assistance and risk management programs to ensure compliance, promote quality, and minimize company losses.
• Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Bachelor's degree in Safety and Health or equivalent from recognized University.

7 years of HSE experience including at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
