The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and directing the business development of the Bank's relationships with banks, insurance companies, funds and governmental investment authorities in the relevant countries.
The ideal candidate will be a senior relationship banker with at least 5 years experience, at senior level, of financial institutions in the Middle East. He will have at least 7 years working experience at an investment bank or a high-end commercial bank with particular focus on debt and structured products as well as risk solutions. A track record of successfully generating revenues from the target sector is a prerequisite as is a proactive, strategic mindset, deal closing instincts and a willingness to work in a culturally diverse team.
In order to succeed in this role the candidate will have a hands-on approach, and the ability to network effectively within the client organization to ensure effective marketing and delivery of a wide range of value-added products.
The successful individual will need to possess strong marketing skills, as well as a well-developed ability to engage effectively with different cultures. He will have a track record of creating and meeting client need. A polished individual, he will be able to interact confidently with all stakeholders, and engender confidence. He will already possess a substantial client base in the target countries. S/he must be able to generate significant revenues through his own efforts as well as those of his team.
