A leading It service provider is continuing to expand its PMO to meet the requirements of ongoing and future projects.
The Project Coordinator will be responsible to support and to be an active participant in project management planning and controlling activities such as scheduling, risk management, requirements management, cost control, and project reviews. The right person will communicate effectively and excel at bridging professional gaps and will be a catalyst for success in this important position.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
Work with project managers to develop project plans according to defined requirements
With the help of the Project and or Program managers create and or update the Project-Program Plans and any necessary Meeza Project documentation
Audit project documentation for completeness and accuracy
Support and facilitate the process of project management, to include reviewing project artifacts, setting up gate reviews, and maintaining dashboard reports on project status
Work with project stakeholders to ensure requirements are gathered and being met
Use MS Office Products to support the project planning and controlling processes
Primary duty will be focused on creating construction schedules using Microsoft Project Planning software
Qualifications / Experience:
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Project Coordinator supporting a project management group
Experience with MS Project Planning software and MS Office Suite
Must have excellent communication and written skills
Highly desired - Project Management Organization membership and certification in either PMP or Prince2
