Implementation Specialist - Fixed Income

The requirement is from the unit responsible for delivery and management of Fixed Income, FX, MM trading and risk management tools to the business. A high-caliber individual is required to assist with the design, development & implementation of front-office FI models and Risk Management tools. The position however focuses on implementing the product.
• The job opportunity is in the Implementation & product management team of the Unit based out of Bahrain. The unit is responsible for developing, implementing and supporting the application developed by the unit. The job is "business-technical" in nature and requires the incumbent to do Business analysis, requirement study, product specification and implementation.
• The position entails an ongoing and effective interaction between the Traders in the business and the incumbent. Subsequent to the design and development of these products, the candidate will be tasked with rolling-out the applications to the various Treasuries in the region.
• There could be a requirement for the candidate to travel extensively and interact with Traders, Operations & other support units of Treasury in the region.
• A good understanding of Treasury products, general technology architecture is a must to be effective on the job.
• Preference will be given to candidates with In depth knowledge of Fixed Income along with average/above average knowledge of FX and MM products
• The incumbent would need to also work on delivery of complete user documentation and implementation guidelines to the respective business. He should be a self starter

The job primarily focuses specifically though not limited to rollout of Treasury Product with FI module. As and when required the candidate will be asked to work on other modules like FX and MM. The incumbent would need to provide the specifications to the Delivery team on FI products & functionality, interfaces to systems within the region.

Requirements:
Understanding of Treasury systems, products & processes & project management techniques / skills
• Should have in depth knowledge of Bond pricing, Risk analytics and Processes.
• In addition to possessing sound academic qualifications, the candidate must have formidable communication skills, in order to articulate complex modeling and associated Risk concepts between the two teams.
• High-End Communication & Analytical ability, Quant skills are a plus. Treasury product knowledge & understanding, IT Orientation (experience in usage of internet technologies preferred) are desired.
• Experience in Treasury Front office, Treasury back office, Control functions related to Treasury, Knowledge of excel is must.
