Organizational Relationship:
A- Reporting to: HR & Admin
Job Purpose:
Administer, maintain, and manage insurance policies. Manage raising and following up on insurance claims to ensure settlement. Ensure best lowest premium available with out jeopardizing quality or coverage levels.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Maintain Medical, Motor, Marine, Money, Land Transit, and Property insurance policies.
2. Ensure timely renewal of all policies.
3. Verify accuracy of insurance records.
4. Verify data on application and policies (i.e. item, location, principal sums, etc.)
5. Proofread printed material concerning insurance program & exclusions.
6. File records of insurance transactions & keep calendar of premiums due on quarterly bases.
7. Ensure adequate coverage in each policy.
8. Raise insurance claims & ensure follow up till settlement.
9. Follow up staff medical claims & complains.
10. Keep track of all ensured passenger & commercial vehicles covered in the policy.
11. Continuously reviews property & stock value covers & recommend adjustments.
12. Ensure declaring consignments leaving the port or company property as needed.
13. Ensure follow up of dept & credit notes between the company & the insurance company.
14. Compile statistical data for reports to management.
15. Any other task related to insurance & insurance policies.
