The Khadamat IT Manager will report to the General Manager and be responsible for the Khadamat IT systems and the delivery of IT services. Duties will include the day to day management of the IT departmental team. The IT manager will also be responsible for the financial management of the IT department, including budget forecasting and profit and loss.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• To effectively manage the Khadamat IT department team, including maintenance of the respective section business plan
• To provide full reporting on all IT related services and issues in a timely manner to the Operations Manager for inclusion on the monthly report.
• Ensure the availability of company systems to all users, including UAEU users, where appropriate
• To ensure Business Continuity, by keeping Khadamat IT systems fully active and operational in the event of non catastrophic hardware failures (for example the failure of a single server or hard drive).
• To further develop and implement Disaster Recovery procedures to ensure that in the event of a Disaster the systems will be fully recovered within four working days and that all critical data for which Khadamat must maintains - in particular any data that Khadamat is legally obliged to maintain (e.g. employee data, safety data, accounting data etc.) and retain - shall be restored for use.
• Ensure that the Khadamat IT systems are protected by current anti-virus software and that all firewalls and agreed protocols with the UAEU IT department are maintained, such that virus or other intrusions are not possible.
• To ensure compliance with Khadamat's IT security policy. To review the policy regularly and update it when required
• To ensure that the services are delivered in accordance with the output specification and service response times.

Skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, knowledge of small to medium size company IT operational systems, including MS Enterprise Server, MS Office Suite, Great Plains, IT based help desk systems and web based applications.

Education: • Bachelor of Computer Science or Equivalent Degree
