Our Client is one of the leading Construction; Facilities Management Service Provider and Infrastructure Project Development companies in The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the GCC region. In relatively short period of time our Client has grown into a multi-company, multi-divisional organization with subsidiaries and affiliates in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and abroad. They are now looking to recruit an Mechanical Engineer to join their Facilities Management Team.

JOB SUMMARY
In essence this role will manage the daily operation & maintenance activities related to HVAC Systems, Water Network Systems, Plumbing Systems, & Power Generators System.

Main objectives of this role involve:

1. Monitors the daily operation & maintenance activities of all mechanical services.
2. Supervises the implementation of corrective & preventive maintenance schedule.
3. Conducts regular inspections to plants and technical rooms to ensure operations are conducted smoothly and as per all requirements.
4. Follows-up on new materials required with purchasing division if required.
5. Monitors the work of Mechanical Supervisors to ensure work progress and completion meets all requirements.
6. Supervises the implementation of policies, procedures, and standards required by the Client.
7. Reviews and approves the work orders for the mechanical services.
8. Reviews daily correspondence and requests, such as memos, shutdown requests, Candidates CV's, and subordinates requests, and take necessary action.
9. Supervises major system modifications in coordination with Client Engineers.
10. Brings all maintenance programs and methodologies up to date.

Essential Skills/Qualification Required
• BSc Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years plus experience as a mechanical engineer
• A good working knowledge of the outputs normally achieved various types of equipment
• An appreciation of engineering techniques and their suitability
• A practical knowledge of safe methods of working
• Be computer literate (familiar with Word / Excel as minimum)
• An ability to read and understand schedule of works documents especially specifications, drawings and Terms & Conditions.
• Work cooperatively with employees and in a team to achieve the optimum result in the time available.
• Reasoning ability, support and prioritise projects, adapt to shifting priorities, work with minimal supervision, able to resolve problems/conflicts.
• To assess site conditions from a physical inspection and interpretation of instruments.
• Must speak, read and write English fluently
