The main role of this position is to plan the sales, setup and objectives of the Oilfield Services Business lines for a UAE support services company, including Well Services, Specialty Production Chemicals, Drilling Fluids Services, Traded Chemicals and the Chemical Production Department. The incumbent will be required to make the necessary studies for market requirements of the various services, as well as approach and negotiate terms of cooperation with reputable technical partners for new services. Key responsibilities will also include:
a) Developing sales budget and monitoring budget expenditures for Oilfield Services business lines;
b) Identifying and developing new business initiatives in line with the company's growth plans;
c) Conducting market research and feasibility studies;
d) Developing and launching new products and setting pricing schemes and launch strategies;
e) Setting up objectives and business plans for the Division;
f) Studying the tender requirements for a related pre-qualified service and negotiating with partners on the scope of cooperation on each individual activity;
g) Preparing information and technical specifications for tender requirements and raising a suggested list of related suppliers to the General Manager for approval to get quotations and bids on each specific item;
h) Assessing all Departments' activities and policies, and setting up the necessary programs for promotion and representation towards various clients; and, but not limited to,
i) Directly overseeing the Health, Safety and Quality Management System and procedures for the Division.
Requirements:
• B.Sc. in Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years oilfield experience in well services with related professional training courses.
• At least 5 years of experience in a managerial role related to activities in well services. |
