Provide presales support to key account executives and the sales team. Responsibilities include:
1.Support sales team on proposing the clients solutions to customers.
2.Explaining the features and benefits of the client and Partners solutions; comparing it to those of a competitor's products.
3.Focusing on the technical side of the solution, presales engr. will deliver presentations to technical and management personnel and communicating with sales regarding customer needs.
4.Additional responsibilities include providing on-site support and product installation for proof of concepts and application demos.
5.Handling technical presentations at trade shows and conferences.
6.Completing RFI/RFP; identifying client requirements and ensuring proactive communications with customers to ensure customer satisfaction. That will include Preparing Technical Solution Documents (TSD) with required scope, module write-up including solution overview, etc.
7.Assist sales in gathering 3rd party pricing and liaising with 3rd parties, if required.
Requirements:
• Should be able to build solid conceptual designs for the proposed solutions that meet Customers requirements.
• Should be able to interact with Customers for clarifications/initial calls/ Understand and articulate the scope of engagement.
• Should be able to interact with other technical team members within the company for successful delivery of solutions
• Should be able to use Installation manuals for the clients products.
• Solid Knowledge of different software architecture methodologies such as SOA, Web 2.0, SaaS, Client Server, Multi-Teir, etc..
• Knowledge of operating systems: Windows, Unix or Linux
• Knowledge in programming languages like .Net, Scripting, AJAX, J2EE, HTML, and XML
• Knowledge of databases: MSSQL, Oracle, My SQL |
