To work as part of team providing a Procurement Service for a defined Category (Buildings or Technology) to achieve cost efficiencies, service excellence and improving customer satisfaction.
The Procurement Specialist administers the sourcing cycle for contracts within a Category.
• Work as part of a team to provide a total sourcing service to the client (Demand Analysis, Supplier Contact, Supplier Selection and Contracting)
• Administer contracts and proposals
• Initiate supplier contacts, and administer the tender process.
• Contribute to the review of proposals, negotiate prices, select suppliers, analyse trends and orders placements and delivery;
• Ensure that all sourcing activity is completed in line with company Policy and Process
• Regular reporting to Line Manager, updating on status, flagging any barriers to success, and identifying opportunities for improvement

Experience
• 3+ years experience in Procurement, Sourcing, and Supply Chain Management in multinational companies.
• Knowledge of Procurement, Sourcing, Category Management, Supplier Management, Supply Chain Management, Commercial & Contracts.
• Customer Relationship Management: experience of building and managing positive relationships with customers to C Level, working with complex client environments
• Service Delivery: track record of managing and delivering Sourcing services driving strong customer satisfaction and improving standards
• Budget Management: managed high value budgets
• Cultural Awareness: experience of working with people from different cultures
• Business English: verbal and written.
Qualifications (Please refer to guidance for qulaifications required by grade)
• Degree level Education preferably in Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience.
• Relevant Professional Accreditation (CIPS, CILT, ISM, IFPSM, PMAC) |
