We have an opening for a Project Manager in our Energy Services Division located in Malongo, Angola. Reporting to the Angola Technical Manager, the Project Manager will be primarily responsible for interfacing with customers of an existing large account and the project management of medium to long-term projects as required. This role is on a rotational basis of 28/28.

Minimum Entry Level: Account Manager (Nalco Company standards)

Other Responsibilities include:
• Interfacing with customers at all management and operations levels both in the process and water related disciplines
• Involvement in 6 operational assets
• Responsible for managing medium to long term, finite, high-ROI associated projects, such as the implementation of new chemical programs, managing the start up of new assets, designing processes to improve chemical program efficiencies, etc).
• Problem solving & trouble-shooting
• Offshore Assistance for industrial (field) trials
• Provide oversight and mentoring for assigned chemical operations offshore
• Creating, capturing and communicating value through completion of high ROI projects

Requirements:
The minimum qualifications the candidate will have include:
• Seven (7) years related industry experience and in OFC
• Bachelor's of Engineering Degree or Chemical Engineering Degree
• Must be fluent in English (Spanish or Portuguese is a plus)
The desired candidate will have professional experience to include:
• Directly relevant industry experience
• Master's Degree in Engineering is a plus
• Five (5) years experience working with water treatment and process improvement utilizing chemical solutions as an engineer or engineer with additional sales experience
• Excellent sales, service, and leadership orientation
• Experience of Offshore industry
• Proven Project Management ability
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills
• Competent computer skills in the MS Office environment including Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project
