1. Plan a construction project and prepare a construction schedule in conjunction with the Project Superintendent.
2. Cooperate fully with the Project Superintendent to get the project completed.
3. Process contract drawings and specifications and ensure that the building is built in accordance with these documents.
4. Ensure that the contract drawings are the same as the estimate set of drawings.
5. Ensure payment in full for the contract price including all accumulative changes and credits, etc.
6. Instill a positive working relationship with the Owner and Architect to ensure repeat business.
7. Prepare regular, timely and accurate billings for Owners, and ensure timely payment of subcontractor billings.
8. Monitor, in conjunction with the Project Superintendent, a project's material and labour costs and ensure accurate quality reporting is being conducted.
Requirements:
1. Educational and experience requirements include engineering degree or equivalent combination of technical training plus min. of 10 years experience/knowledge of construction, design, finance and management required.
2. Must be able to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance.
3. Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards etc. and their impact on project activities is vital.
4. Previous experience in residential and high rise buildings.
5. Leadership skills. |
