Reporting to the Group Procurement Director, the CAPEX Manager will be responsible for implementing supplier's strategy for CAPEX, ensure that the group's needs for external goods and services are fulfilled at the lowest cost of ownership, while meeting all requirements for quality and service.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To provide an efficient, effective, professionally-managed, procurement service to the business that provides a high level of service at a reasonable cost, and balances financial control with efficient transaction execution
• Monitor and control adherence to the approved CAPEX expense budgets.
• Forecast the CAPEX requirement
• Work in close co-ordination the Group Procurement Manager and planning team to consolidate requirements
• Approved CAPEX Budget
• Implement the supplier strategy for CAPEX, building and utilities in order to reduce time to market, reduce total cost of ownership, improve supply security and boost innovation.
• Asses the budget for preliminary phases and manage global overseas and local suppliers during project execution phases (Inquiry, negotiation, purchase orders, construction follow-up, start-ups)
Requirements:
• Degree qualified
• Minimum 5 years purchasing experience in large size organization.
• Previous experience working in FMCG, Manufacturing, Production, Engineering or Commercial background
• Worked in ERP environment
• International exposure, with experience working in multicultural environments is ideal
• Excellent communication skills in both English (written and spoken) |
