An opportunity has risen for a highly skilled UAE National QHSE Engineer to join one of the leading oil & gas organisations in the UAE. The organisation is expanding across the board in a number of new positions and due to this expansion they are now seeking highly skilled UAE Nationals to join the team.
Ideally the candidate should have circa 5 years experience in the area of HSE and experience implementing management systems. A degree in an engineering or safety related course should be obtained and experience in the oil and gas sector is essential.
The main duties of the role include the following:
Provides technical support in the field of QHSE management systems. Coordinates day-to-day activities associated with all QHSE policies, procedures & guidelines. Coordinates development & implementation of KMS action tracking databases. Prepares QHSE monthly & annual QHSE management reports. Day-to-day coordination of the QHSE Management System with PMT, operational staff & contractors to ensure awareness & implementation of QHSE management system requirements. Participates in accident investigations & audits, & recommends remedial actions to ensure timely resolution & to avoid recurrence in the future. Coordinates all incidents data, reporting & CAR requests. Participates in training in corporate QHSE tools.
