Over All Responsibility
Will be responsible for assisting the Director - Human Capital in formulating and implementing recruitment strategies, campaigns, plans and process. Will also be directly involved in the whole process of selecting suitable candidates from numerous sources.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities (JD):
1. Develop recruitment materials:
• Assist the Director - Human Capital in developing job descriptions.
• Update grading structure as and when required.
• Develop testing tools for recruitment.
2. Workforce planning
• Control, maintains and updates manpower plan and prepares related monthly and weekly reports.
3. Workforce market
• Search workforce market.
• Identify suitable recruitment channel for company.
4. Recruitment agencies
• Coordinate local and overseas recruitment campaigns under the supervision of the Director - Human Capital.
• Coordinate with local and overseas recruitment agencies to fill vacancies.
• Liaises with approved recruitment agencies for supply of manpower.
5. Negotiation, Document collection and follow up
• Draft, Negotiate and finalize employment offers as per NSCC's policy and procedures.
• Collect necessary documents from approved applicants and follow up the employment visa with PR.
• Follow up all joining formalities, issue engagement notice and conduct primary orientation / induction.
• Notify Line Managers of the probation period (Start - End) and collect necessary feedback.
6. Selection process
• Screens applicants for basic compliance with position qualifications and UAE Labor Law, summarizes CVs for easier evaluation by the line managers..
• Obtains and assess all certificates and testimonials of the candidates.
• Ensure all vacancies are filled with the suitable candidates within the targeted time.
• Interview candidates up to supervisory level and provide feedback to both the Director - Human Capital and Line Manager.
• Ensure all recruitment policies, procedures and techniques are adhered to and recommend improvements.
• Forwards collected CVs to the concerned Line Managers for evaluation and interviews.
7. Recruitment record
• Coordinate manpower planning process and maintain manpower records.
• Establishes and maintains files and records on an ongoing basis.
8. Inventory candidates
• Maintains an active and organized data/CV bank of applicants for various positions.
9. Reports
• Generates recruitment related reports.
Requirements:
EDUCATION
• Education to the Bachelor Degree in HR, Management or any related field.
• CPP or PHR is an advantage
EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 5 years of exempt level related experience
• Minimum 2 years in construction field (GCC)
SKILLS
• Excellent Skill in written and oral communication (both Arabic and English) and interpersonal.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills with high attention to details
• Skill in operating a personal computer utilizing a variety of software applications: Databases, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications.
• Skill in handling difficult situations/people
• Skill in establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships within the team and line managers
• Skill in managing multiple priorities to meet deadlines
• Strong Skill in interviewing techniques and etiquettes
• Very good negotiation skills
KNOWLEDGE
• Strong knowledge of UAE labour and employment law.
• Knowledge of E-Recruitment
• Knowledge of Mass recruitment
• Knowledge of HRIS (customizing and implementing)
• Knowledge of Job Analysis and Job Description(develop and update) |
