A leading government organization in Abu Dhabi is currently looking for Recruitment Officers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provides support to Human Resources Department by handling all personnel issues & recruitment related activities of the department.
• Controls, Maintains and Updates manpower plan and prepare related monthly and weekly reports.
• Maintains an active and organized data bank of applicants for various positions
• Screens applicants for basic compliance with position qualifications, summarizes CVs for easier evaluation by the departmental heads
• Obtains and assess all certificates and testimonials of the candidates
• Generates recruitment related reports.
• Maintains statistics of CVs screened, personnel recruited etc to adhere to approved manpower positions.
• Collects and assesses CVs and incorporates them in the internal database for qualified candidates.
• Conducts initial phone screening and complete candidate evaluation documentation.
• Organizes advertising, interviewing and selection processes for recruitment campaigns
• Interviews job seekers and prepare shortlists of candidates
• Provides applicants with information about the job, tasks, responsibilities, working conditions, terms and conditions of employment
• Advise job applicants of the results of their application
• Discuss recruitment policies with superiors to ensure effectiveness of selection techniques and recruitment programs.

Requirements:
Preferred Qualification: Specialization in HR / Business Administration
• Knowledge of HR principles and concepts
• Proven conceptual, analytical and evaluative skills, and the ability to conduct independent research and analysis, formulating options and making recommendations
• Objectivity and the ability to apply HR rules and regulations in a fair and consistent manner
• Ability to solve complex issues and propose creative solutions
• Ability to contribute to the streamlining and automation of the recruitment process
• Excellent time-management skills
• Effective organizing skills
• Solid computer skills; proficiency in the use of office software products (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, graphs, etc.) and in the compilation of statistical data
• A high degree of tact, diplomacy and discretion, and proven ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to write in a clear and concise manner and to communicate effectively in English
• Knowledge of other Arabic would be an advantage.
