Our client is a truly global composite insurer with an enviable reputation in both the FS and General Insurance markets. This post is a vital part of their expanding operations in Bahrain with responsibilities that include:
• Providing sound technical and business management for portfolios.
• To act as a technical liaison between Underwriting and Risk Engineering.
• To provide risk assessments/risk improvement /loss prevention services for clients and business partners.
prospective accounts to underwriting partners.
• To develop and implement loss reduction strategies across the book.
• Support external customers by identifying, assessing and reducing the risks.
• Provide appropriate risk improvement advice and implement risk improvement programs.
• Actively pursue cross-sell opportunities and market Risk Engineering Value Proposition, products and services.

Requirements:
• Relevant degree and/or related industry or technical certification in a specific field of insurance risk surveying/engineering or loss prevention.
• Relevant experience in the assessment of risk, underwriter liaison and technical risk report writing.
• Advanced knowledge of exposures and controls within the specific industry.
• Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
• Languages; English (fluent), French and Arabic preferred but not essential.
