1) Responsible for Regular inspection of all work sites and ensuring availability of methods of protection from risks and damages.
2) Responsible for the investigation of accidents to establish the root cause and recommend remedial actions.
3) Preparing statistics on the staff injuries and serious accidents
4) Following up and ensure the availability of fire prevention facilities and fire extinguishers.
5) Monitoring of periodical inspection/testing of safety equipment and appliances and kept registry records.
6) Responsible for conducting Safety and risk reviews and audits.
7) Conduct Safety, Hazard and Risk awareness training
8) Organise safety campaigns to promote safety consciousness among workers
9) Secretary to company's Safety & Health committee.

Requirements:
1) A recognised degree in Engineering from a reputable University
2) At least 2 years experience in safety work, preferably in engineering environment
3) A qualified Safety Officer approved by Minister of Labour and Social Affairs of Kingdom of Bahrain
4) A good command of written and spoken English is essential
5) Competent with Microsoft office application program
