Training Needs Analysis:
Identify Safety Training needs in consultation with Loss Prevention Department and all other line management in relation to a particular area of training expertise, in order to address these needs.
Analyses carried out at regular intervals.

Training Advice:

Advise employees and management on appropriate Safety Training courses, counselling individuals as necessary, to match requirements with the most suitable programmes available.
Feedback from individuals as to the quality of advice and support received.

Research:

Maintain Safety awareness of externally available programmes in order to identify appropriate training opportunities.
Awareness of the latest techniques and programmes and evidence of these having been introduced into Marafiq.

Quality Assurance:

Design and presentation of Safety Training programmes to ensure consistency of quality and delivery.
All new programmes reviewed and approved prior to implementation.

Training Delivery:

Personally develop and conduct selected Safety Programmes to internal audiences as required in order to impart safety learning to Marafiq employees such as Defensive Driving, Safety Management System and Lifting Equipment
Feedback from programme participants.

Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:

Advanced degree in relevant technical specialisation or equivalent professional qualification

Qualification in training & development

Minimum Experience:

Minimum 8 years experience in a technical field.

Job-Specific Skills:

Expertise in those areas for which the role has training responsibility

Strong interpersonal skills

Judicious use of training aids
