THE POSITION
The position reports to Sales Manager and is responsible for meeting sales targets in the region allotted to him. Also coordinates with peers and subordinates in the sales team in fulfilling the desired objectives of the company.
JOB DESCIRPTION AND DUTIES
The person will be responsible for marketing and selling of lighting products within the allotted territory and in accomplishment of sales targets & gross margins as per the objectives of the company.
1. Sales
• Maintain the existing customers by providing them timely service and technical support.
• Develop new customers in the given territory
• Shall have good contacts with channel partners, contractors and lighting consultants in UAE market.
• Shall have good knowledge of architectural / commercial / industrial / decorative lighting products
• Exposure to the lighting software is added advantage
• Shall be able to work under pressure and be able to meet sales targets
2. Customer/Principal co-ordination
• Follow up with customers for any enquiry regarding our products.
• Correspond with Principals and follow up.
3. Marketing
• Updating the customers with new developments / products from time to time and to promote the same.
• To participate / visit lighting exhibitions in UAE
4. Reporting:
• Should be capable of preparing sales reports
• Provide market intelligence reports to the management to help them in effective decision making
5. Others
• Ensures proper channels of communication between the sales and production / materials planning departments.
THE PERSON
Age should be around 30-35 years. He must follow uncompromising business ethics in order to protect the interest of the company.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Graduate / diploma holder in Engineering in any discipline with knowledge of Lighting products.
• Must have experience of 5-6 years in selling lighting products and solutions.
• Must possess valid UAE driving license
• Experience in working with Orion ERP system will be added advantage.
• Hands on experience in Excel and Word. |
