My client is part of a larger Government entity. They require a junior and senior accountant to join the expanding department. This is an excellent opportunity to build a career. Your main objective will be to handle the accounting processes in order to report figures to senior management through financial statements.

Day to day responsibilities will include the following;
• Accounts payable - book related entries into the system
• Accounts receivable - preparation of monthly billing, booking billing entries in the system (JDE)
• Bank reconciliations - preparation of receipts to customers, passing on receipts in the system
• External Audit - Liaise and provide external auditors with relevant financial information

Requirements:
Candidate Criteria:

You must be a UAE National

University degree in Accounting and/or Finance

Additional certification (ACCA, CIMA) is desirable

At least 2 - 4 years Accounting experience

Fluent written and spoken English

Excellent communication skills

Strong commercial acumen
