ALS Laboratory Group is establishing a Core Testing facility in Saudi Arabia via a joint venture with a local business partner, Maamel - called ALS Arabia. This enterprise will construct a number of commercial laboratories within the Kingdom to provide services to the Environmental, Mining, Oil & Gas and Food industries within Saudi Arabia and the other Gulf States.

ALS Arabia is seeking a Senior Core Testing Analyst to become part of the initial start up team for the Oil & Gas laboratory. Initially, this position will be hands on, where it is expected that you will commission the analytical equipment, train new employees and analyse samples as required. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate suitability for the position, ideally meeting the following criterion:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Supervise staff to ensure they carry out their duties in a timely manner whilst following OH&S protocols.
• Ensure the section is suitably equipped and staffed.
• Provide training to new employees.
• Monitoring that client expectations are met by the Laboratory.

This is a permanent full-time position with a salary commensurate based upon skills and qualifications. Skills
• Tertiary qualifications in the Science field.
• 3-5 years previous laboratory experience with Routine Core Analysis.
• Previous supervisory skills are preferred.
