Reporting to the Head of Finance you will manage the fund accounting and fund administration requirements for a variety of alternative funds, primarily Private Equity, Real Estate and Infrastructure funds.

Roles & Responsibilities
Preparation of regular and period end financial and management reports for internal and external distribution for the funds to include:
• Assisting in preparation of Tax/VAT returns
• Submitting regulatory filings
• Preparing accounting entries for new investments
• Ensuring complete accuracy in the funds reconciliations and valuations in accordance
• Manage year end closure and production of Statutory Financial accounts for group companies
• Calculate and review NAV's for underlying investments on daily, monthly and semi annual basis as required
• Oversee and manage relationship with 3rd Party Administrators
• Processing and reconciling of all trading activity
• Maintaining the books and records for various private partnerships and accounts
• Reconciliation of the books of limited partnerships/separate accounts, including cash, assets, recording purchase and sale transactions
• Support fund management teams with accounting information to prepare distribution and waterfall calculations
• Booking monthly closing accruals and real property reconciliation
• Assisting with funding strategies for new direct investments
• Reconciliation of internal P&L against administrator NAV.
• Reviewing monthly cash records and period end closing packages for private companies
• Contribute to developing new products and funds.
• Be the contact for external / internal auditors
• Analysis and execution of deal funding needs, checking all required limits, approvals and documentation in place
• Set-up of infrastructure for deal including structure, entities, bank accounts, etc.

Candidate requirements:
A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, CIMA, CPA, CA or MBA
Proven Financial Reporting experience under IFRS.
Strong knowledge of fund accounting and administration for open ended equity and closed Real Estate, Private Equity and Infrastructure funds
Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
Over 5 years of experience gained in a functional role preferably at a major asset / Fund management, investment company, or financial institution.
