Requirements:
Manage implementation of the annual marketing plan for the UAE business unit. Work with the companies product marketing teams to devise local marketing programs that deliver results in line with marketing objectives
Work with local operating partners to communicate the companies strategies and tactics and help to facilitate implementation of those plans in the market
Track results of marketing programs through quantifiable measurements and provide analysis and recommendations for future programs.
Work with the marketing director to provide quarterly updates on marketing activities and results to the Headquarters team.
Manage the marketing teams
Provide leadership to product marketing managers in order to help prioritize tasks, ensure quality output and meet delivery deadlines
Identify training and professional growth opportunities for marketing team employees
Share knowledge between marketing teams and other functional areas
Review marketing program ideas before they are submitted to HQ for approval
Actively engage and work with cross functions such as sales, product, etc. to collectively upgrade marketing prowess
Partnership management
Maintain close and effective relationships with operating partner teams
Establish good relations with key distributors and accounts
Manage, supervise and evaluate partners' marketing plans and implementations
Analyse and develop expertise in the market dynamics of designated product category
Identify internal and external sources of market knowledge (research companies, internal databases/ECRM, internet, personal networking)
Manage local marketing research initiatives. Work with vendors and HQ to ensure that sampling methodology is sound, questionnaire localization is accurate and the research objectives are met.
Provide local market expertise to the management team
Present and discuss findings and interpretation to management and internal departments
Demonstrate ability to interpolate analysis into strategic and tactical decision-making process
Must have a degree in Marketing
Ideally an Arabic Speaker
Minimum 10 years experience
