Senior Operations Manager - H&M

H&M are recruiting for a Senior Operations Manager, who demonstrates fast pace and enjoys delivering constant improvement, which is key for our continued success and future growth plans

As a figure of seniority, the successful candidate will demonstrate strong teamwork skills to lead the field team and act as first point of contact for assigned countries on all operational aspects. Delivering sales objectives and operational costs in line with the business plan the role involves implementation of processes. To support the achievement of KPI's ,the ability to give clear communication to the field and store teams is essential.

Working with the Merchandising team, using own initiative is key to influence concept mix and allocation, to maximise sales opportunities.

Developing the team through selection and development of productive and high performing people, the Senior Operations Manager will work closely with the HR team to implement succession planning, to promote internal growth and show we believe in people as well as working alongside training.

Responsibilities:
• Driving and delivering sales performance, KPI's and profit return
• Managing manpower performance and development
• Monitor conditions and trends within the local market
• Implementation and management of business development initiatives
• Managing a team of multi-cultural field & store based managers
• Actively contributes to development of business initiatives relevant to brand projects
• Identifies and delivers initiatives to enhance business / increase and improve sales

Requirements:
• Senior management experience with a multi-site retail brand
• Educated to degree level or equivalent
• Experience of managing across a wide geographical area
• International experience would be an advantage
• Experience of managing sales objectives and operational costs in line with an agreed business plan
• Experience of developing a team within a growing brand
• Able to work as part of a team and on their own initiative
