Founded in 1977 by Joel Dean, Giorgio DeLuca and Jack Ceglic with the opening of its flagship store in SoHo New York, DEAN & DELUCA quickly grew into a multi-channel retailer of gourmet and specialty foods, premium drinks and high-end kitchenware. Due to the brands growth and success with Alshaya we are now seeking to recruit an experienced Supply Chain Officer, who reporting to the Supply Chain Manager will become an integral part of the supply chain team. The role will be to ensure ongoing product availability in the relevant markets / product areas, highlighting potential stock issues and taking appropriate corrective action. * Ensures forecasts are produced for allocated markets / product areas, and communicate to suppliers in a timely manner * Places orders based on forecast stock levels, ensuring that these orders are calculated accurately and cost-effectively * Order products and tracks distribution to all Alshaya Markets for both warehouse and store replenishment * Ensure accurate stock data (sales,inventory and intake) is maintained* Manage & enforce the compliance of all food regulations & leglislation to all vendors in the respective market* Implement & develop controls, processes & SOP's to improve the supply chain* Support the clearing agent, shipping agent & International consolidators to achieve business goals* Support the supply chain manager to achieve team goals

Requirements:
• 2 - 3 years experience within supply chain / logistics / merchandising* Food background an advantage* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills* Excellent communication skills* Analytical thinker
