Objective: Plans, manages and coordinate the operation of Blown Film Extrusion for heavy duty packaging materials manufacturing plant.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Exercise general responsibility for plant process safety and personnel safety.
2. Supervise the activities of assigned personnel in the department.
3. Oversee the operation of the plant, including setting priorities, assigning projects, setting targets for projects and following through to their successful completion.
4. Coordinate the preparation of the operation department budget and monitors performance on a regular basis to ensure the plant is operating profitably.
5. Coordinate with the Joint Venture Partner's R&D Center and the technical staff for the development of new products and/or improvement of existing products.
6. Supervise the technical and maintenance personnel to ensure that adequate resources are brought to bear on unit problem.
7. Interfaces with other company resources and other outside technical resources.
8. Participate in the long term resource planning.
9. Coordinate the technical department workforce training and development.
Reporting to : Functionally and administratively reporting to the Company's General Manager but on a periodic interval shall also report to the Technical Partner or the Know - How Provider

Other Interactions : Department Heads and outside technical sources
Number required : one
Duration : 2-years renewable upon mutual agreement of both parties

Travel requirements : Occasional travel within the country and outside
Gross monthly base salary : To be decided upon to with successful candidate
Commission / Bonus : Yearly Bonus, dependent on performance

Candidate Profile:
1. Minimum 10 years of managerial experience in the Plastic Industry with a minimum of 5 years in a blown film operation. preference will be given to candidates who have worked in a multilayer film operation.
2. Self-driven & Motivated.
3. Sound knowledge on Manufacturing, Cost Control, Budgeting, Project Management, Maintenance & Material Management.
4. Excellent communication skills and able to manage multinational workforce. |
