The Direct Marketing department generate leads through various marketing channels such as Media, Direct Mail, OPC and Owners programmes.
The Direct Marketing team is responsible for sourcing, qualifying and following up on all leads generated from these marketing channels to drive business by way of tours to the sales team to sell IFA Hotels & Resorts world-wide projects.
The Outdoor Personal Contacts (OPC's) work from Shopping Malls and at Exhibitions to generate leads for our wide range of products. OPC's are required to proactively approach potential customers in order to generate a minimum number of leads and tours for the IFA Vacation Club, Fairmont Heritage Place and IFA Hotels & Resorts freehold properties. OPCs are required to source and qualify customers and persuade them to attend a 90 minute presentation, (at times in return for gifts)
The Telemarketing department follow-up on the leads generated by the OPC department that have not confirmed immediate tours, as well as leads generated from all the direct marketing channels. The Telemarketing Team are also required to proactively source leads through outbound calling with the aid of contact databases, media publications and directories. Specifically for the IFA Vacation Club and Fairmont Heritage Place, executives are required to promote and sell Mini-Vacs to clients who have expressed interest in these products. Other gifts are also used as a means to gain customer interest.
Role Purpose:
A Telemarketer acts as an ambassador for IFA Hotels & Resorts, as they are often the first point of contact for customers, which is an important role within our company.
They must have exceptional communication skills and have a desire to achieve and exceed targets.
The Telemarketing role is to ensure fast and efficient contact is made with all leads that come through our various marketing channels with the purpose of inviting clients to the sales centre for a 90 minute sales presentation and viewing. Gifts are often used to secure appointments.
Another activity within the Telemarketing role is to sell Mini-Vacs to leads specifically acquired for this purpose. The Mini-Vac package is sold directly over the phone and confirmed on the spot.
Excellent customer service skills and product knowledge are required. Telemarketers must be very confident and proactive over the telephone to ensure that control is maintained in conversations with customers and therefore maximize the percentage of tours that are attended as a result. As there are qualifying conditions to each tour and Mini-Vac is it vital that all terms and conditions are provided to the clients before they attend any appointments with us.
Commission is achievable for each qualified customer that attends a full sales presentation and for each sale that takes place as a result.

Excellent communication & customer service skills, ability to communicate and interact well in a variety of situations. Outgoing and confident whilst maintaining a professional attitude at all times. Self motivated and a team player.
Attributes
Previous, marketing, promotions and/or customers service experience. Persistent, yet ethical working practice. A desire to achieve and become a top performer and therefore maximize earning potential.
Experience
Previous sales, telemarketing and timeshare experience would be preferable. Previous experience in setting and achieving personal goals and targets.
Having worked individually and within a team environment. |
