The Utility mechanic shall report to the Maintenance Supervisor or Foreman and shall be responsible for the maintenance of utility equipment such as compressors, pumps, and all other rotating equipment. He shall monitor utilization and performance of equipment to immediately diagnose operating problems and perform necessary preventive maintenance, breakdown repair, and overhauling when required. * Routine maintenance of utility equipment on daily basis.* Monitoring and recording of process parameters of utility area (daily check list of utility equipments).* Carry out lubrication schedule as per work orders.* Inform superiors of any abnormalities on the performance of utility equipments.* Coordinate with other technicians in the department to over come the abnormalities on utility equipments.* Assist Process Engineer to monitor the water quality in utility and to observe consistently the instructions given by the Process Engineer to maintain the quality of water.* To assist KOTC driver for transferring LPG from tanker to Kimmco storage tank.* Perform emergency job at any time of the day when instructed. * Ensure safe conditions in his working area following safety guidelines, safekeeping of tools and equipment, and maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the surroundings. * Ensures that fire fighting equipment are always operational and in good working condition.

Requirements:
• 2 years education in a technical school* Minimm of 5 years experience as an Industrial Mechanic in a manufacturing plant.* Good knowledge of rotating equipment/compressors/pumps and carries out jobs with minimum supervision.* Good technical knowledge in rotating equipment like pumps (reciprocating as well as rotary), reciprocating compressors, fan, blowers, and material handling equipment like belt conveyors, metal conveyors, and other stationary equipment. * Experience in trouble shooting and overhauling of all rotating equipment in process/production. * Thorough knowledge in using measuring instruments and alignment of rotating equipment. * Hard working, self motivated person, with good communication skills.
